You got me :oops: . Looks like the body of a nice sized buck without the head gear. The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission would classify that one as a doe :wink: .

Looks like a wise mama to me two. Although I have mounted tow sets of horns that were came off does! One set polished the other still in velvet late in the yr. BTW, the one with polished horns counted as a BUCK here.

I'd say doe. No color at the tarsal glands.

The body is too big for a button buck - at least in this area.

appears to be a Buck without head gear to me anlters have dropped off!

One thing I know for sure don't shoot it without a doe permit just in case it's a she. Looks to me like a buck that dropped it's antlers, it's a tough call

they don't class them buck or doe in ontario the tag says antler or antlerless only.

It looks like a buck with shed antlers to me.

i'm going to classify it half and half just in case..

half doe + half buck = 1 Duck
