Post by Golden Eagle »

What is it bringing in your area this year?

Last year it was 9.99$ here for any blend.

This year,

Doe in Heat 14.99
Doe P 9.99
Dominant Buck 9.99

I went back to Tinks for Doe in Heat. 9.99

I can't get enough of the acorn buck bomb... It may become my new cologne of choice.

planter wrote:$8.99 for the original Bomb and $14.99 for the "Bone Collectors" addition. It must be REAL doe in heat lure.

I wonder how much of the 5oz can is really urine or even from a deer. I use the Bomb successfully but doubt they have enough does on standby to fill so many cans.... :?
I want to know how they get them to pee in the can.

I used part of a can yesterday and a group of 5 does came up the draw. Three were mature does and two were skippers. As soon as one of the mature does caught the scent of the doe in heat scent bomb she went nuts stomping and blowing like crazy and then ambled off stage left. Another 40 yards or so and I would have had an opportunity.

I know that it was the scent that set her off. It was a fresh scent piece of cheese cloth and I am super careful about using rubber gloves. I realize that it is a little early but i have seen an increase in the number of scrapes so I thought it was worth a shot. Oh well live and learn. I will wait until next week to try it again.

The Bone C one is supposed to have some new additive to keep it fresh un the can, but its more than likely the exact samething im sure.

I get mine by the case so the estrus is only 5bucks for me per can :P
