This is the only pic I have right now. A buddy has some better ones but I haven't got them yet.

The secret lure is one that my dad put me onto years ago. The stuff is called "BUCK STOP". the company still exists but the particular attractant that we have found to do wonders, is no longer made. I found a healthy supply of it on sale this year and grabbed a few bottles. The bottle to look for is white with a burgandy logo. the readers digest version of this sutff is a mixture of glands from a doe.

The first time my dad tried it, he put a wrag in a tree with a few drops on it. Next morning there were 7 deer sleeping at the base of the tree. After that, we started to pay attention. In fact, one of his brothers challenged him to a competition and spread everything from deer cocaine to every type of urine around. They simply walked right past it looking for the buckstop. Call it just dumb luck but I have had great luck with tis stuff and like anything else that works for me, I STICK TO IT!!!

I rattled this guy in but when he went to leave, he got a wiff of this stuff and came back looking for love. I knew exactly when he picked up the scent. he was simply leaving and suddenly stopped with his nose in the air. he spent the next 10 minutes licking his nose, peeing on his haunches, making little scrapes and rubs before he stepped into a clean shooting lane. Very exciting behaviour to watch.

Now let's see that moose like bugger do the same MUAHAHHAHHAHHAHHAHAH!!!!

The very first day that I deer hunted with a bow (about 1975), I put out some Buck Stop brand doe in heat lure. Right after daylight a buck came directly to the tree I sprayed with the lure. I drew, aimed, shot, the buck jumped, took off, and there was my arrow sticking in the ground. I thought I had missed, so I sat there. About 15 minutes later I see the buck coming back, he walked in and stood at the same exact spot, I shot again, and the deer took off. There was my second arrow sticking in the ground about an inch away from the first arrow. I was so mad I thru the bow out of the tree. Climbed down and was shocked to see both arrows covered with blood. Found a real heavy blood trail and followed it until it went in different directions. Followed both trails and recovered two nearly identical bucks. Too bad Buck Stop went out of business.

There are no guarantees in deer hunting but I know that naytime I have had deer downwind of this stuff, it seems to drawm them in. How it works early season,I don't know as I save it until things are heated up.

It's not the 200 stuff. It is a musk with Burgundy label. I picked up 2 bottles at Shooters Choice but they are out of that now so I am going ot give the blue label gland musk a go and see how it works.

As for the avatar, I sure miss the dancing girl of old. Too bad the whiners won
