6 point looks better in daylight

Been getting a few pics of this guy and he finally shows up in the daylight. Wouldn't you know it, I had to go to a wedding reception yesterday and didn't get to the food plot stand until 6:00PM. Missed him by 1/2 hour!

All the previous pics were at night, and his rack didn't look nearly as good. Now I'm wondering if I could let him walk.

My stand would be to his right (left side of the pic) and that would have been very close to a broadside shot at 15 yards or less.

I think that you will not be able to stop your bow from taking
that deer. It will act on its own.........You Know.

shootem i passed on one like that 3 yrs ago also a very nice 6 point it was my last tag and i wanted a 10-12 point (i never got) i have regreted it ever since, and i still have that tag somewear

There is absolutely nothing "wrong" with that deer.

just depends on what you are looking for. Most probably would take that deer. I have a problem to where I always think about what if he comes by next year

the trophy is in the eye of the beholder. Some probably have never seen a buck that big so he's a trophy to them

he looks like a 2.5 year old though.. i'd personally pass him but thats me

In some states thats about as big as you get though

Went in and climbed in the stand at 3:30 this afternoon.
Saw woodpeckers, nuthatches, chickadees, chipmunks, squirrels, geese (flying over), crows, and a red-tail hawk. No deer, but it was still a great evening to be out!!!
If he offers me a shot I will take it and have no regrets. If it doesn't happen, well, I'm used to that, too.
