Deer Calling

When does a person decide to use a doe bleat or a grunt? I have a Primos "The Great Big Can Long Range Estrus Bleats" and a Quaker Boy Brawler and am unsure of when to use each. Up here, we are getting close to the rut, so I would think either call would work.

both should work for you now... I normally grunt 3-5 times every 30mins. I hit the doe in heat can every 30mins also. I like to grunt while flipping the can over so it gives a more realistic chase scene sound

I agree..but just when i think i have them kinda figured out I get proved wrong by them over and over...

I used a primos doe in can call today and had a doe show up about 100yds in the bean field looking for me....looking back, should of taking the shot (shotgun season/rifle barrel) but didn't....I give an occasional grunt call...
