First big buck update

Post by gogo »

My son's first big buck story gets better all the time. He brought the head into a local outdoor store Erie Tracker it is well known in the area. The store sees many deer during the year and they said it is truly a buck of a lifetime. They said he should have entered the big buck contest. A quick look at it and they figured it will score between 140-150, it will be officially scored later on this week. Not bad for his first deer, pics will be posted when it is developed.

Well father its time to be proud. Only problem is listening to all that crumbling when he can't find a bigger one next year. Enjoy it now.

Huntman. Sorry I did not explain myself properly, what I meant was that they looked at it and took a educated guess on the score, the owner of the sport store will score it later in the week. You are absolutly correct a official boone and crockett score would have to wait for a 60 day drying period.
