Hey, Crazy ...

How are your beans this year? Good yields?

Some farms around here are getting good numbers, but the beans on our farm were really hurt by excessive rain. They picked some of them last night ... but not all, 'cause some of them were replanted.

Your successful hunt shows the value of "going anyway" ... many great hunts have been last moment, unplanned, short and sweet occasions! :D

Girzz, on good land we are getting 65-70bushels per acre. A good crop in past years have been 40bushel beans. Price is good around 9.40 per bushel also so the bean crop is the cash crop this year and we have just about all soybeans planted LOL.

Everytime ive killed a nice buck ive just been sitting there thinking of other things. Each time ive been and thought about which one would walk out and which way he would come and how I would take the shot I havent seen anything LOL.

Its ALWAYS unexpected.

after I get my lil one to school im going to get the wife to get into picture mode. She's still got the flu along with my lil girl. I think im just to diehard crazy about hunting this week it cant get me down :D

once again, thanks everyone for the comments. Im usually checking this on my blackberry so I cant reply to everyone each reply. But thanks and best of luck to everyone else. Shoot straight and bring down some more giants 8) :D

Now that boy has some mass!

Nice tall rack.

So two go to the taxidermist ya say. That wall must be getting pretty full.

I think you will get to where I am regarding mounts Crazy if you keep it up. For every one I mount now and place in my office, one has to come off the wall.

I shouldn't be doing all this construction on the Swedes spam. I should be building me a brand new man cave so I could put them all up.

I knew you were getting frustrated prior to harvesting these two deer. I am willing to wager once the season is over you will look back at the time spent prior to the harvest and realize just how much fun you were really having.

It is a sad day for me. I once roamed the mighty woods in Virginia. And breed many a Doe. I eluded Crazyfarmer for so many years. I knew all his tricks and would smile with a grin on my face every time his cuddy would take a pic of me. I peaked in the field and saw crazy hard at work and chuckeld again to myself you will never get me my friend. So off to do what I do best. Chase the lady's. But I underestimated the man and let my guard down and now I am hanging in his barn. It was a good run crazy I hope to do it again some day soon. Ok all joking aside that is one heck of a buck you got there. Can you say Mass. I love it and it is a giant way to go. :D
