A few pics from October.

Post by chris4570 »

Here's some pics from the month of October.

Saw some turkey about 200 yards away and put the sneak on them. Managed to get within 15 yards. Should have bought a tag.

They eventually saw me moving. Just enough to have them walk off.

I used this old blow-down to sit up against.
Image

Didn't see any bucks, but did see this doe who kept looking behind her. She was followed soon after by her young one.

The barn on the property I hunt.

From my ground blind on Sunday as I await the deer to arrive.

Sun starts to set. Still no deer. But I am confident.
Image

As if on cue, I can hear them coming. A doe and her young one pop out. Less than 20 yards. They have no clue I am there. I decide I would just watch tonight instead of giving one of them a ride in the deer-hearse. The low light makes for a slow shutter speed and blurred pics.

They continue to feed until it is time for me to leave.
