What type of Excalibur to buy

Post by Archery Newbie »

Currently looking at purchasing a bow from Excalibur. I will be hunting deer and moose (so far....lol) with it. I was looking at either the Exocet or Exomax. I have no clue what I'm looking for, in regards to bows, arrows, etc. etc. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as far as a hunting bow goes you can not beat a 200lb bow for deer mooses and even turkeys or elk thy will do it all .an xocet or vortex would do you a life time of hunting .i have had both and thy are a great hunting tool DUTCH

I was looking for my 1st about a month ago. Went with the Exocet. I liked the 200# limbs. For me kind of a "three bears" deal. Not too big and not too small. Yep, it is just right.

Really once you decide on Excalibur (gotta love em) you have 2 real decisions to make. Thumbhole vs. traditional and the poundage of the limbs. They really do try to make it simple for us.
