Of course, it's worthless until you shoot something. :P

Thanks everyone for the generous comments. If, you could see it up close the staining I had a problem with. Which is normal for me. A few scratches that I never saw until I stained it. And a blemish where the stain did'nt take. Staining and finishing in general always leaves me wanting better out of it. Oh well, start another. After the wife's things maybe I will. Thanks to all the members for their help. I could'nt have done it without this great forum we have here. Thank you!!

I should have kept track of the hours but did not. I got the stock blank in July and would put in a hour or two some days and there were days I did not touch it. During deer hunting season I missed weeks. I really wasn't worried about the hours. The end result was my goal.
