I've been away up north for the rifle hunt and away from the forum for most of the last 2 weeks. Looks like there have been many successful hunts by forum members during that time. I'll be sure to look at your pics and stories as time permits. In the mean time, CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL! :D

We had an average season in terms of numbers of deer taken, but lots of deer were seen over the week. I was hoping for another buck but instead shot a smallish doe and scored an assist on a wounded fawn. The weather was unseasonably mild and if not for some fantastic hounds this year, I don't think we would have seen nearly as many deer. Overall, a very enjoyable, successful and safe hunt.

There are definately some nice Deer being Harvested this Year!! Congratulations to ALL 8)

seems everyone is having a very good season with ALOT of nice mature bucks being taken
