A doe for Curves With Recurves

I got my doe last night. 110 yards with my newly customized Ruger .243. First for the Ruger and first with a rifle for me. I'm in town at a free Wi Fi place and will be processing deer up here over the weekend. Husband got a 7, son got a 6. Story when I return.

Congratulations to all that got their deer in case I just can't catch up on the posts since I've been gone.

I've Rugered many a deer to death!

With careful shooting, a .243 will dump 'em! :D

She did drop in her tracks and never got up. I was surprised. I'm used to a much larger chunk of lead. :lol: :lol:

The .243 is my favorite for deer and what I have used on Texas deer all my life.
