Was walking to my stand about 3:30 pm when I came across to my right at twenty yard this piggy eating corn. I froze took aim and thats all she wrote. Hog was killed in South Georgia on 17 Nov 2009...

good job....and good hog ...only good one is a dead one...even though they are good eating....don't know about the boar or not...here in louisiana we don't take much heed to the hype about what fine table fare a wild boar is. the sows are a different story...they are excellent table fare.

That one was a pow/flop for sure. The hog never felt a thing!

It is hard to tell how big the pig is...any guess on weight? I just wonder how big they can typically be and still be considered good table fare for something else besides sausage?
