I have never heard of a rabbit being resurrected from the dead
Get a shower and a doo and let itself back in its cage.

Cats usually cover their kill, not canine(s).
My guess is lynx or bobcat.

I would guess somebodys house cat. They kill for fun and will uasually cover their catch to eat later. A wild animal will kill to eat NOW. IMO.
I am a hunter and proud of it.

I tend to agree, Allan ... I haven't known canines to cover their kill like that, either.

Maybe some do ... but I guarantee you that the coyotes here don't, and red wolves don't, either.

I've seen some domestic dogs bury bits of rotten carcasses and such.

Bears will cover kill, but they always drag it off from the site.

Beats me, but that meticulous "round the circle" scratching looks just like cat-work.

Hard to say without a track ... and there is a track somewhere, or at least an imprint. Should be a hair around, maybe ... look harder.

My beagles bury everything. Give them a chew toy or bone and they run out side and bury them. bury things in the couch and beds don't matter. If we find one the burried in the house and pull it out they get very irritated with us.

Munch that is funny!!!!!!!!!!
