Went out this morning with Doemaster . Was not feeling like going too far in so I took a place on the ground in a likely spot . At about 7:30 I heard a faint snap to my left . Seen nothing but as I began to scan my sight to the right I caught a movement . There was doe within range looking at me behind the slight brush. When she looked down I was able to pick up the bow . She made a motion to walk away but to my luck she proceeded to walk into one of my shooting lanes . The luminocked arrow gave a good indication of shot placement . At my shot she was belly down and flat out running. She was able to go about 75-100 yards .
Here is a photo of a happy hunter
She must have been injured earlier in life because she had a big hard lump on her front leg . Before I shot she was not limping or anything so she was more than healthy .
After field dressing she got a free ride out of the bush .

Very nice Doe Old Buck! Looks like a few good meals there.
I've been going out and sitting on the ground lately to. To much work going way in and climbing up. I have one of those carts as well.
Very handy indeed. Congrats!!
