Strung or Un-Strung For winter storage
I don't see much time left for me to hunt this year. So I want to put my Vixen away for the winter. Should I remove the String or leave it Strung?

Some guys unstring their bows long term storage but mine's been strung since the day I got it with no adverse effects. I have a buddy who's Wolverine has been strung for almost 19 years with no harm done.

I remove the disapator pads, let the bow down, remove the string ( fold and tie with some twine to prevent unwinding), clean, lube, remove bow from barrel and store in safe during the hard-water stage.

If i think I will be doing any shooting I leave it on but for long term storage I take the string and dissapator pads off.
