Where I Hunt.........Doc's Place

Post by Mike P »

I really like seeing where everyone hunts. And as I have my new SLR camera I took a walk this morning and took some photos of where Annie and I have been hunting trying to take her buck here in the neighborhood. We have been hunting him at Doc's place. His property adjoins ours.

This is the entrance to Doc's place.

Image

He lives on forty acres and his driveway goes right through the middle of the property so it makes it easy to get to stand locations.

Image

This is a picture of Doc's house.

Image

And this is the ridge we have been hunting where she put the arrow over the bucks back.

Image

We are sure he is still around as this was not here before Thanksgiving.

Image

He also left us a little calling card.

Image

And last, this is where the big bucks hole up; it is the private gun club (we are members) that adjoins our properties. It is around nine hundred acres of refuge for the whitetails.

Image

Well, so much for my first venture out with my camera.

I vow to get better!

I think they are great pics MikeP. I also enjoy seeing the spots where others hunt. Its like going on a hunt with them.

It looks like a great area. I like the sign. I could use that where I hunt

Quite the Mansion! Look like he's taken quite a few bucks by the looks of the house. :D

Awesome pics Mike! The wife thought we needed a new camera, and bought a EOS 450d today. The day before before gun season.... I hope she knows something I don't!
