Scrapes Reopened

Post by vixenmaster »

I was moving my ground blind this afternoon, found 2 scrapes that are reopened. I have had so much work to do getting ready fer winter here on our new place. I got out my old Grey Hawk 50 cal & wiped it down on the outside. I will clean the bore of dust n such in next day or 2. I want to sight it in soon or on the next day it gets 50 degreees or above.

Sounds like there may be more hunting to do! :D
The Greyhawk should be a good rifle, I have a NewEnglander which is the same thing but blued instead of stainless.

I found some tracks in a mock scrape i made a couple of days ago at the base of a tree. Was not really a scrape, I just moved some leaves to mark 30 yards. But it was a pleasant surprise! At least there is one deer in my area!

I tried to hunt yesterday but had something come up and had to come out.
i noticed one track in a scrape but other than that there has beer zero activity in my area.
I'd better check the Oaks,I'll bet more acorns are dropping.
