My bow season never closed!
Re: Come on Monday
As of Monday we only have 25 days to get it done. Hope the deer gods cooperate.
Re: Come on Monday
..here in NJ the shotgun season starts monday! Our deer will be a lot harder to hunt after a week of guys pressuring our deer! Thats a great video you have!

Re: Come on Monday
It's alot colder than it was before the muzzleloader hunt. Might have to spend some time on the ground. Doesn't look like it's going to warm up in Ontario for awhile.

Great video! What trail cam is that from? Is there an option to get the date / time on the video?
This is my first year with trail cams since I got a 2 pack last Christmas for $100. That tells you the quality right there. But I must say they really add a lot of fun to the hunt. I put them out in August and then would go check them once a week or 2 weeks. It gets you out there doing some pre-season scouting that you might otherwise pass on.
I'd like some IR cams, video would be nice too. But there's something to be said for simple too. I also learned that battery life is critical. I have one that runs on a $20 12V gel cell fire alarm battery for about a month and a half on a charge. I blew the 12V circuit on the other one when testing my hookup but it still runs on C cell batteries. That's something else that's nice to have - a regular 12V connector option and not some proprietary 9.217V external battery for $100 option.
Just out of curiosity, does anyone have one of those fancy schmancy trail cams that automatically sends pictures to your phone or computer? That wouldn't work up here (in my hunting areas anyways) but I'm sure there are lots of members that have cell coverage in there favourite hunting grounds.
