when do the bears go to sleep?

Post by bullfood »

Went to 3 feeders Monday , 1 gone w/no trace, 1 brutalized and empty w/a large recycled corn pile beside it and the other untouched. The bear(s) have been busy.
I've never baited in this area in the past and wonder if maybe the bears will retire after the storm . Hunting south of Orillia Ontario

Gotta hang them where the bears can't reach them. We put small diameter cable, with a pulley on them, between trees about 12-14 ft up. Never have problems any more.

I think he means deer feeders, I could be mistaken. 14 would be too high :P
