First Buck with..

Post by xbow_cas »

I've taken deer with crossbow, shotgun, in-line muzzle loader and flintlock but tonight was a first for me. I took one with my truck. Nice six pointer jumped in front of me and never even had time to react. Severe damage to my truck. At least I get to eat him but it sure is going to be an expensive hunting trip!!

You sound like you are Ok so I will assume that you are.
I have my own autobody shop and have repaired numerous vehicles involved with deer 'encounters' and as long as you can talk about it, I will assume you are ok too!!
Enjoy your steaks!!

Glad everyone is ok. You could name your truck, "The Tenderizer"

Cheers.

Glad that you are well. That makes for expensive ground venison...50-60 bucks per pound?

I had one run into my car, but, I have not had the pleasure of car-jacking one , yet.

Glad everyone is OK. I bet it bruised him up a good bit. How fast were you going? The one that hit me was running about 30 miles an hour and it was messed up fairly good. Especially after I finished her off with my compound.
