My buddy's son took his first deer ....... a 22 point buck~!

Post by Sandman »

A good friend of mine sent me a couple of "proud papa" photographs ..

His son shot his first deer this season during the Controlled Hunt in this area .. It was a mere 22 points and 291 lb buck. What a great animal and a beauty start your hunting memories with ..

I dont have the story to go with it and I hope he does not mind me sharing the pics with the forum but I thought this harvest needed to be shared. My buddy is a master taxidermist so I will try and get a couple of pics once the mount is done ..

He was taken in the Brant-Burford area .. That's one that I am sure will get scored. My buddy is the one who mounted my buck that is my Avatar.
