This winter I would like to make one or two custom stocks for someone. This would be a good pastime for me and hopefully a great looking stock for you. There is a site website; (http://www.rifle-stocks.com/laminated_blanks.htm) that has rough stocks to puchase. check it out.
You supply the stock and for 350.00 I would make it for you. All we need is a meeting of the minds on what you want. Anybody interested?

Just be sure the stocks from there are going to work. I looked into them last winter and figured I would need a target stock (super big and heavy fore-stock) and it would "just" work to make a duplicate to my Y-25 stock.

Thanks for the tip. Ran across this site but did not try them out. I thouht the target was the way to go if I gave them a try.

I bought a stock from them and was very satisfied. It was the electric blue laminate thumbhole and was very easy to finish and use on a savage model11 muzzleloader. It worked out excellent.
