Day Pack

Post by Cworetired »

I need a better pack than what i have and wanted to see what others have found that work well. This will be a day pack but I alwys carry extra gear. I will use bow and rifle hunting as well as woods walks with the wife. It needs to be weather proof and quiet as well as easy access to the gear. Thanks for your inputs.l

Have a look at these, they get awesome reviews. Bow, rifle, gear, quiet, waterproof..

Check Badlands backpacks. Pricey, but supposed to be really good.

The trouble for me was knowing what size to order. We have no place to really try any out so when they are talking about cubic inches it really did not mean much to me. I did'nt want something too big and ended up getting one that was a little too small. I think on 24hourcampfire they have a backpacking forum and some of those guys are really into it. Might be a good place for info.

Search Badlands Packs and Blacks Creek Packs. Both of these are high quality packs.

http://www.gameplangear.com/standbk.html I bought this for my husband this year for Christmas. Wyvernes Creations has a good price on it.

Check out armynavydeals.ca for a variety of packs. I would tell you which one I use as I am extremely happy with it but they don't make the particular model any more. TC
