My new Vixen II...WoooooHoooooo!!

Post by lscha »

I did it! I now have even more in common with some of my favorite people on this forum. I am the proud owner of a new Vixen II. I was going to wait until I had her tricked out with one of my Boo strings and such but I couldn't wait to tell you.

When my husband got home last night he looked it over and said things like "yeah, that's nice" but I noticed his eyes kept going to my Ibex sitting patiently in the family room waiting for him to pick her up. He finally went in and got the Ibex and looked it over, then said "How much of this stuff are you going to leave for me?" meaning the NGSS, GP mount, rangefinder mount, sling, and Boo string. I said "all of it". He looked out through the scope and said "Darn right, you will!" We had to laugh.

Congratulations on your new bow!
I've been thinking about a Vixen II for my son (and as a backup for me) but I'm not sure how much he would get to shoot it. I'm still much bigger than him and he's not strong enough to pry it out of my hands.
