off season

Post by gogo »

How often do you guys and gals shoot your bow in the off season? Do you put them away till the summer or do you shoot year round?

I am a daily shooter, always messing with the scope, brace height, broadheads, fletching, wind, rain, snow...
I sleep better at night after hearing my Exocet go "fawhap!"

I have a couple sitting around ready to go for the privilege of being able to shoot when ever I want to which is probably 20 arrows a week during off season.

I enjoy shooting year round. It gets me very depressed to unstring my bow!

If'en i unstring either of my CB's fer more than changing out strings. I get a case of of terrible shakes & withdrawl symptoms. Then i have a complete melt-down! :( I shoot couple times a week fer enjoyment. You ought to see my local deer around cabin go into panic mode!

I shoot when my back allows me to.After cocking the beast a few times I'm done anymore.
I may have to go to a lower poundage bow but then I figure I only need to cock it once or twice on a hunt.

I shoot year round, but I unstrung my Phoenix a couple days ago. In the off season I only shoot once every week or two, and it's no big deal to re-string.
