sts mounts

Post by nick »

Bought a set of sts mounts and I was wondering what the string that comes with them is for.All it says is that it is to protect your serving but nothing else. Not what to do with it.Any help would be great..Thanks..

I read somewhere that it is extra serving material.

That is to hand serve the area where the string hits the bumpers. Basically making the center serving longer so bare string material doen't contact the bumpers.

No you do not. The bumpers will still last the same. As well, I have more than two hundred shots on an Exomax with STS and no serving extensions, and the bumpers are still good. :) And the string is still perfect. :!:
There is more than a few here who can vouch for that one.

Is there a short shot life to the bumpers? Does the purchase include an extra bumper set?

Take care...

People have recorded several hundred shots. You get an extra set with the package and they are guaranteed for a year assuming you send in your warranty card.

Put 'em on and see! Makes following the arrow in the scope easier if nothing else.

I don't use the STS I use the NGSS from the forum here.
I would not be without one or the other on my bows.
