ANOTHER SNOW storm... greatt!!!!

forecast is for anywhere from 12-21inches here tomorrow till Saturday!!!

We still have a good 6inches on the ground from last weekends storm. We very seldom see big snows back to back here! To make things worse, its been the wettest year to date! Our winter wheat crop is about flooded out from all the water

CF . . .when I was growing up there, it wasn't uncommon. Then we got global warming. Now, looks like the good times are rolling again.

Guess what happens to the birth rate next October/November. You better watch out or you'll be holding a newborn instead of a bow.

We had one big dump about a month ago. Then it thawed, and now little 1 to 2 inches stuff. The big one coming is going south of us. And that is a good thing. Oh, and that thaw made for a lot of unhappy farmers around here to.

Lots of rain again here this weekend.

We've had an incredibly wet winter.

Ground is super-saturated.

Winter wheat's already ruined.

Farmers would usually start planting potatoes in two weeks ... ain't gonna happen.

They are calling for it to get partly cloudy down here.

I had to drain all the water lines in the cabin. Everyone is scrambling to secure shelter for their cows, and the watermellon farmers are concerned that there will not be a crop to sell this summer.

You all keep your heads down up there. Hopefully we will all get through this OK.

it used to be that we would get hammered here in northern illinois but for the past several years it seems like all the big snows go to the south of us.

Here is a pic from PA. I haven't been outside yet. That is my picnic table on the deck. Looks like close to 20" so far and it's still snowing. They might have to postpone the sports show in Harrisburg if they got as much. I'm only about 30 miles from there. I'll get some more pics when I go out with the snow blower.

Here's the story for you southern folks. If you send hot dry weather north in the summer we will keep our cold weather and snow up north. If you send cold wet weather north in the summer you best buy yourself snowblowers and plows.Sounds like a deal to me Ha Ha .

If you want hot and dry weather, you need to talk to southwestern folks, Gogo!

I really don't think you'd want us to send you some good 'ol steamy southern summer heat. Trust me.

All we got was enough to make a good excuse to take the day off and loaf.
