Getting the Hang of the FITA Thing

Post by vaguru »

Here is my latest FITA score from tonight. I did shoot my first 300, with 24 inners. I wanted to take it down and put a new target up to finish the 450 but there wasn't time.

There was lots of noise around the line tonight, and I didn't get my concentration up in time for shot 37. Looked good, stock weld was incorrect, but went out into the 9 ring, ruined my target! Darn! Still happy to finish with a 449 with 33 inners.

This Apex is really working out for me!

Good shooting. 20 yards I take it? Many other crossbows shoot with you?

My local club shoots this at 20 yds, but officially would be shot at 18 meters, about 14" less. All standing, no magnification, 3 shots per end in 2 minutes each. Hand cocked only, no cocking devices.

thats very good shooting standing with no rest... everyone brags about hitting the bullseye every shot without a rest, but usually its not true LOL. Those are very good above average groupings with no rest and espically without a scope..

good marksmenship;)
