Any before and after kills?

I’m seeing more and more “before and after kills” posted on various sites. I guess with the number of trail cameras that there is being a very popular method of seeing what is on your ground this is happening more and more.

Anyone have any trail camera pictures of a buck that they later killed?

I’ve got only one and it wasn’t really a trail camera. A friend of mine got this buck on video on a soybean field next to his house in late July. This picture was taken form the video so please excuse the quality.



The first part of November in 2002 I arrowed him about a mile from where he was videoed. This is him on the ground.

Didn’t score much but, a pretty unique rack with three tines having a common base. A mature buck just the same.

Boy do I love trail cameras now:) I found out what was out there and knew what to hold out for. I had 4-5 bucks on trail camera that made my hitlist. 3 of the 5 came by this season and I knew instantly which ones where which. Studying the detail of the antlers and body helps alot for quick judging a buck when you have a few seconds for the shot.

Recovered about 30 yards away after a 1/2 hour wait.

Unfortunately these pics are all I have left because someone decided they needed the skull more than me and stole it from the tree in which it was hanging in on my property.
