The problem with new pups...

Post by DuckHunt »

..is they don't stay pups. :) Seeing the other pups posted made me decide to share my latest addition. My old black lab mix, Beau, has reached a ripe age of 10 and is going strong. He has been a great dog so we decided to add another. My son decided on a yellow lab/golden retriever mix he named Zeus.

We picked him up in July. He was a cutie right from the start.

It didn't take him long to get comfortable in his new surroundings. :)

Zeus was very impressed with Beau. Beau was not impressed with Zeus. Zeus has two speeds. High and off with the majority of the time on high.

From August to November, his weight and size tripled.

He's still a looker.

And still gets very comfortable in his surroundings. :)

He doesn't have 1/10th the nose or smarts of Beau, but he is a fun dog. Unlike Beau, he can't get enough of the water. I'm sure he'll be a fun dog on the river this summer.

Yeah....nice labs fer sure. My dog of choice would be either a lab or retriever, so great mix as far as I'm concerned. Hope you have years of fun. My parents have/had a couple of black labs...1 left....they are great dogs.
