I will add that a new dirt road was being put in from Haliburton lake to Percy lake I was on it in the summer on my 4 wheeler and seen lots of fresh deer & wolf tracks and fresh wolf scat with deer fur in it.I did have a feeling I was being watched

we dont have many wolves around here but the coyotes are getting brave. I have seen tracks within 50 feet of our house, and coyotes on our neighbors lawn.

I think the new laws around the Algonquin park area has increased the population of the wolf numbers and we know the cancellation of spring bear has done that for our bruins here in Ont,and now their favorite fast food locations are closed for business(local dumps fenced off) northern cottagers and locals are in for the perfect storm!!
