Photo contest results

Post by chris4570 »

Well the second annual photo contest has come to a close. Plenty of great pictures from many happy hunters in the trophy room this year. Congrats to everyone on another successful and safe season.

Here are the final standings.

Drum roll please.........

1st place goes to Catcher!! Congrats!!! An excellent buck with smiles all around.

Catcher wins a crossbow( looks like he may have a couple kids to save it for) and a picture frame which to display the winning photo.

2nd place goes to Ischa!! Congrats!!! An infectious smile for sure!! Very nice, clean picture!!

Ischa wins some of Johns custom arrows and slick trick broadheads.

3rd place is a tie between FishnHunter and myself, chris4570!! Both of us worked hard for our deer. You can see it in our faces. I voted FishnHunter, another great harvest picture, and I already have a groundpounder mount so I will back down. Congrats!!

FishnHunter wins a groundpounder mount and swivel seat?? Or was there another prize swapped out?

Now there is one more prize for the youngest hunter from the trophy room. Anyone care to divulge their age??

I am very humbled by the votes and comments about my picture. There were so many great pictures I struggled with a voting decision myself. My mom and I just went through all of them the other day and each time I see them, I pick out different favorites for different reasons. Congratulations to everyone that entered a picture. They are all winners.

First of all a big thank you to Chris for running this contest. And another big thank you to all those who donated prizes. And thanks for those who voted for me and my kids. I say my kids because they were really excited that dad might have a chance to win a crossbow. My oldest still has 3 years untill he can pull the trigger. And I am sure he is going to want to use this new crossbow when he does. It is truly an honor to be a member on this forum and to share my hunting memories with you all. I am definetly going to put the winning photo in my new picture frame and display it with pride. Once again thanks to all. Side Note. I worked hard for this deer and scouted and passed many deer in order to get him. I had trail cam pics of him and was determined that this was the one I wanted. I hunted this particular buck for a month and a half before I had two encounters with him. The second encounter was the one that sealed the deal.
