Easton Tracer nocks

Post by secret »

I use these on my bolts with great success . what i like about the Easton Tracers is that after they pass the magnet they light up... after impact they go to a blink mode..saves batteries...much easier to find when blinking. to shut them off just wave them back across magnet. i mounted the magnet with epoxy.

I used them last year for the first time. Took a small buck and was able to see the nock flash
from my stand after it had passed through the deer. They work best in low light.

I use them also but they are pre Easton and I can replace the batteries.
Mine have never failed to light

I had bought some of the pre-Eastons as well and had thrown them in the tackle box. About 600 miles of rattling around in the truck later I went to install them and they were deader than doornails. I returned them and switched to Lumenocks. Either the electronics were very sensitive to rattling or the nocks / magnets oriented themselves so the nocks lit up and the batteries died. I suspect the former.
