Visit to Bass Pro Shop Toronto

Post by va3cgt »

I was in BPS the other day and noticed there's big white security tags on almost every item.

I was at the cash and the door alarm went off when some customers were leaving, the manager actually checked the customers receipt and contents.

As well, upon walking in, there was about 6 emergency task force cops (SWAT for our american viewers) standing around at the front of the store but they might of had a slow day and been in shopping...

What happened? Is thievery at an all time high at BPS Toronto?

Maybe that "Stash" guy could enlighten us.

I haven't worked there since January.

But we did have a rash of thefts of bows and crossbows last year, leading to having to remove all the boxed Excalibur crossbows off the shelves, and putting the security tags on all the display bows.
