Excalibird!!

Post by MADMAX2 »

Finally it all came together and I connected with my Exocet on a mature bird thanks Excalibur and big John for the quality equipment I was using.

I had gobbling all around and had my lone hen decoy out front in a plowed field at 20 yds,I was set up on a fence row sitting on a huge oak tree with corn stubble behind me.

This guy came in behind me gobbling his head off I could hear him walking in the corn stubble behind me, luckily about 20 yds down was a break in the fence and he went through it and came in to my dec, as he was doing that it gave me time to adjust and and lift the bow into position he gave a great show strutting and gobbling for about 10 mins when he came to 25yds I let an arrow fly no recovery needed he fell right there dead.Image
