The first time I used mine I had put some repellent on my skin anyway and turned on the Thermacell. No mosquitoes. I didn't want to waste the Thermacell fuel so I turned it off. Very soon I had mosquitoes bumping into my face and biting any spots I missed with the repellent. I turned it back on and the mosquitoes just......went away. I'm a believer.

Good luck tomorrow!

The ThermaCell is one gadget that actually does work as advertised. It's unbelievable the difference it can make between just surviving and enjoying!

I'm a new believer too. If they work as good on mosquitoes as the do on blackflies i'll be happy. I felt bad for my puppy though. On Sunday morning she got eaten alive on her belly before the thermacell kicked in and the ground blind was cleared of the blackflies. On the bright side, my neighbour's kid that had joined my son and me for the day, tagged out that morning with a nice gobbler - his second in as many weeks. This kid has more passion for hunting and fishing than anyone I know. He makes me look like I'm not obsessed...

Mosquito Alley sounds like it will need a new name... Maybe ThermaCell Alley?
