hello/introduction

Post by beehunter »

Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I just started hunting last season. I am 46, female and my first buck was taken with a ten point crossbow. It is sort of a hand me down (bought it from someone who upgraded). I have since learned of excalibur and hope to get more educated and eventually own one myself. I have a lot to learn. I really enjoyed every aspect of my first hunting season-the quiet, the excitement, learning to climb a tree, holding still, being cold, watching squirrels and birds, learning to find a scrape and a rub-wow! Very few understand, unless they too have hunted. I am also interested in raising bees (a new hobby for this year as well), jack russells, horses and hiking. I am a veterinarian by trade-hence all the animals. Looking forward to learning from everyone.

A warm welcome to you beehunter! Sounds like you are expanding your life with a bunch of 'firsts" lately. There is nothing more entertaining than the tree rats...well....the owls can be interesting too, but then again the rabbits are sorta fun to watch as well! Heck...its the outdoors and its a lot better than sitting on the couch flipping the channels on the TV with the remote! Enjoy the experience and don't hesitate to ask questions. There are folks on the forum with a wealth of information and are willing to share!

Welcome to the forum!

One of these day's you'll have to talk to my wife. She'll often ask something like... "Really, you sit up in a tree (lately mostly on the ground) all day long, don't talk to anyone, half the time don't even see a deer much less have one close enogh to shoot at AND YOU CALL THAT FUN???". :)

Take care...

Welcome to the forum. When and if you decide to take the plunge with Excalibur Crossbows I think you will find that no other crossbow will compare. The craftsmanship and reliability you get is unsurpassed and if any problems should arise Excalibur stands behind their crossbows like none other.
