Bought a small parcel of land

Post by Boo »

I just bought some land near Lake Ontario. The deal officially closes at the end of the month. I hope to build a home for retirement and do some planting for turkeys and deer. It's not big (23 acres) but it's less than a hour to Toronto. Tons of geese, ducks, turkeys and deer. Here's a link to the property. It is the two fields south of the road as well as the 7 acres of hardwood. Should be good as the land almost connects the two creek beds on either side of the land. Should be good!

Thats the way the world is turning. You have to own your own land or not hunt. I just joined a range club as to not always be shooting guns where I hunt on my land. Now at the club (East Grey Hunter's and Anglers) we started a 3D coarse so we don't have to drive all the way to Wolf's Den whe we want to shoot bow.

Congrats Boo, That's awsome, but why would a 34-35 yr old guy be planning his retirement?

Very funny Jason! I wish I was 22 yrs younger. I'd have done this then if I had any brains. BTW, if memory serves me right the MNR trapped a blackie in this area! This is a bear season less than 10 miles away
Norm, 100 years in the future someone's going to think they found a copper and lead mine

Can't see any rocks? You need lot's of rocks! They are great for stumbling over in the dark and breaking arrows, lol. I happen to have a few extra for free.

Congrats!!
