OK guys, what is the "skinny" on the Axiom? A friend of mine is looking at getting an Excalibur . . .he is deciding between the Phoenix and the Axiom.
Is there a difference other than the pads?

Re: Axiom?
It is sold only as a kit with a multiplex scope 4 firebolt arrows and field tips.
175 lbs
This was put together to get people into an Excalibur for a few less dollars.
In Canada kit sells for $599.99
I have removed the dissipating bars from my Phoenix and it still shoots great. But I do run a string stopping system.

Re: Axiom?
The camo process is less money, but is nice looking. Also you can buy the bow separate from Dan Miller 740-483-2312. for alot less money. Tell him Rick sent ya. The bows are the same thing, other than the camo and no d-bars. If you want the bars you can buy them for around 26 dollars, your still way bellow the price of a Phoenix.

Re: Axiom?
There will be a double review of the Axiom in the summer issue of HBM. One written by the HBM European Correspondent, Geoffrey Toye dealing with the technical aspects of the bow and one by Editor, Daniel Hendricks appraising the bow from a hunter's perspective. If you are not a member of the ACF, you will not receive the next issue of HBM and you will miss the most in depth analysis available on the Excalibur Axiom.
