Sad News / Life Changes

Post by Grizzly Adam »

Hey, Y'all ...

I know some of you have been wondering where I've been lately. To make the long story short:

My wife of seventeen years left me a month ago. She won't reconcile. Of course I hope things could change but it doesn't look like they will.

I've resigned my ministry and will soon be leaving eastern NC. I'm moving back to my native southern Indiana.

Everything changed, just like that. I've been here for twenty years. The pain and upheaval has been enormous.

Some of you folks on here have meant a lot to me, and I wanted you to know.

I'll be online for another week, and after that I can't say when I'll ever get back on here.

Keep this forum good; it was and still is a unique place.

Know that I believe more than ever and won't ever stop walking as a disciple.

I could use your prayers right now.

I'm stunned Adam. I don't know what to say. I can't begin to imagine what you've gone through and what still lies ahead of you.

I hope you'll let us walk with you.

Sorry for the sudden changes; we will be here if ever needed; life is focusing on the future, and not reliving the past; May God be with you.....

Sorry to hear of your situation.

All I can say is that sometimes God throws something at us we can't comprehend the reasoning for, but it always seems to eventually work out for the best.

I went through the wife leaving me several years ago (after 24 years of marriage) and was emotionally crushed by it at the time.

Not going into detail, but today I'm sane, sober, and happy because I turned my life over to the God of my understanding.

Grizz, I am speachless. Just like good friends should, I hurt when you hurt and my heart aches for you right now. You have my number so please let me know if there is anything that I can do or if you just want to talk, I have no problem driving to Columbia and meeting up with you. You will be in our prayes always but I refuse to say goodbye as I am sure that once you get home and settled in, I pray that you find a way to log in and say hello once in a while. In the time being, we will miss your humor and southern charm that makes you the wonderful person that you are. May God be with you as you travel and please don't forget us.

Love always brother,

Ray
God Bless !!!!!!!!!
