Turkey Block

Post by wabi »

Went to pick up some corn for the feeder Friday and they gave me a "Turkey Block" that had been damaged to put out & try.
I had my son pour a little corn by it after I set it in front of the feeder so the critters would notice it (like I really needed to get their attention  ).

We camped on the farm last night, and this morning I pulled the card. No turkeys hit it yet, but other critters seem to like it.

Not really sure what all is in it. Looks like what you would get in a bag of bird seed in a molasses block.
The guy at the feed store basically told me, "Get this *@#^& thing out of here before I fall over it again!"
It was wrapped in clear plastic and had a plastic handle that said - Turkey Block - to carry it.
I figured for free it was worth hauling along to try.
