Same here. 15 more days and I will be out looking for some more back straps. It seems like the season was a long time coming this year.

I'm ready, going moose hunting in 2 1/2 weeks but it's 90 degrees right now. I hope it cools off very soon. Can't moose hunt with these temps.

No, not ready yet.

I still have to put in some range time with my Phoenix & new scope, but it's been to danged hot to even think about it.

I'll also have to kill the wasps that took up residence in my ladder stand, and replace the ground blind at the food plot before the September 25th opener.

Got the deer trained to come to the feeder, though. Now if they'll just grow their winter coat to get rid of those spots I'll have some tender backstraps to put in the smoker. :D

Me with only three bows ready, darn! Two more ladder to put up and I'm set.
Problem is that deer are using bean field...which may be to mature by mid Sept.
Will have to put one over corn the other on alfalfa.

I have to wait until Oct. 1st here in OK. Thought about taking my compound and heading up to MO, but darn it's still hot here. 95 right now at 6:30 in the evening...

I'm thinking about getting out tomorrow and taking my frustrations out on Dove
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4
