They did a number on my big Iowa buck with my vertical bow last fall... I am thinking of trying the new 175gr Xbow version this fall...

All broadheads cut. Be it Slick Tricks,Muzzy,Steel Force Ect Ect.You give a person some Walmart Game Trackers and he makes a kill,to him they are the best things on the market My question is the POI vs field points and groups. That is the reason I'm running a 2 blade Rage.

Never killed a deer with a slick, but I shoot a head that is very similar. (4 blade - 1⅛" cut - Wac'Em Exit)

The exit hole is impressive, too.

That was the doe I shot last season and she dropped within sight and right on the tractor road. Makes recovery much nicer when all you have to do is get on the cell phone and have the landowner bring the tractor & back the carrier right up to the deer.
Loading them in the truck is easy, too.

This is probably my most used image . . . .

The Stricknine, the Spitfire and the Slick Trick.

I like all these broadheads . . .but, seriously guys . . .which one would do you really think is going to do the most damage? I've shot deer with the Stricknine and the Slick Trick and I can tell you the bigger blades are more devastating.

Just look at the size of that thing.

I just got an order of slick tricks to try. Just haven't been out to shoot them yet.

The Slick Trick has always been my backup broadhead. Because of what I do, I shoot all of the broadheads that I can get my hands on just to see for myself how they perform shot from a crossbow. Some perform really well, some suck. Slick Trick has always been a consistent producer, and that is exactly why it is my backup head. A couple of weeks ago I field tested Slick Tricks brand new XbowTrick. It is a 175 grain SlickTrick that performs like a winning Stallion. Yes it is heavy and it cost me a few feet/second in speed. But the 175 grains makes it like a runaway freight train, while stabilizing the arrow flight and increasing KE. It is a devastating head. I shot an antelope with it aiming for its heart. The broadhead shattered the animal’s front leg and passed completely through it slamming into the sun-baked dirt on the other side of the animal. The arrow flew exactly the same as a field point and hammered its victim to the ground as though it was being powered by a semi-truck/. This is a really great head for a crossbow! Visit the SlickTrick website at www.slicktrick.net to learn all about the SlickTrick XBowTrick. It is a dynamite broadhead.

P.S. Watch for the next issue of HBM for more details on the SlickTrick XBowTrick. It really is a great broadhead for the crossbow.

The buck that I kiiled Monday was a victim of my 100 gr Slick Trick. Here are some of the GRAPHIC photos of that deer.

To be honest, I was expecting a bigger exit hole but the again I never measure the hole  . I'm going to try the Trophy Ridge 100 Grain Hammerhead Rocket Broadheads next year. Our archery season will be almost over by the time they get here. I can buy the Rage 2 blade expandables local but........I dunno  .
God Bless !!!!!!!!!

Hide always pulls back to make any broadhead look like a huge gapping hole. One you get inside, a 1 1/8 hole is 1 1/8 hole no matter how you slice it.
