first kill with new bow

Post by JimM »

At 23 feet high and 30yds out it looked biger then it was but it was a good clean kill. Got in to my tree stand just before day break, after about 45 minutes what i thought was two Doe came out in front of me. I picked the bigger of the two becouse i wanted to donate to hunters for the hungery. When it comes to donating the bigger the better. what i thought was a she was a button buck :(

he only got maybe 25 or 30 yrds and expired. i had concernes about the Vortex mini mag BH. i can put any conceres i had to rest. Two inch entry and a good 2.5 exit. with a great blood trail. Not i need on. he never left my sight.

Good hunt great bow :D

Congrates. No worry on size. The little ones are just harder targets. I'm still in the blind. If it wasn't for a Blackberry I would of been asleep LONG ago!

Congratulations on your harvest. I thought about donating my deer that I killed on Monday but when I peeled those back straps out..............Maybe the next one as these are simmering in gravy and onions and gravy
