Well now, this is really confusing...or I'm just not getting it?

We're talking about the Excalibur version of the STS system...right?

According to this thread, the system is being tested and might be on the market by March?

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Gen 27:3-4

Lets look at this from the business end of things. All the new products hit the shows around Nov-Jan. I dont see a company just adding a string stop system part way through 2010 even if it is ready to go. This years sales are coming to a end once the season is under way. Now to add it to the 2011 line of Excalibur Cross Bows is most likely the route they would take to make it a big release and upgrade to the line.

what you said makes sense but a lot of people want one now and have been waiting along time for its release and want it for this years hunting even if it is the late season.
