I got a sweet little Carbon Express digital grain scale (does other weight systems as well, just have to select). Its small, accurate & cheap.

I use a small digital scale that weighs grains and several other systems. Previously I would use a RCBS powder scale.

M<y RCBS powder weighing scale. If it's good enough for things that go bang, it's got to be good enough for things that go wap (sound of arrow hitting home)

Yep, small digital scale, mines a Dillon, that will weigh in grains.
You can get them around the size of a deck of cards for around $30-$40 dollars at shooting supply or archery stores. Handy little things for sure.

Digital scale from eBay. Not sure of the brand, but it weighs up to 1# (7000 grains) and is reasonably accurate.

I got mine at a head shop, the type of store that sells pipes, bongs and various other gear. Brought it out the door for $20. It has proven to be an accurate and dependable digital scale. The cover flips open to become a pan to hold broadheads or nocks/inserts then closes to protect it's self.
I made a wooden block to hold arrows, it automatically tares the block when turned on to give a good reading.
I have been very happy with it!

Exactly the same thing here, except I bought mine (made by DigiWeigh) for $25 new-in-box from a guy on another forum. When it arrived the package smelled funny, and I'm not even a trained sniffer dog :D :D :D.

I also have a very accurate Redding balance-beam reloading scale, but I find that I use the digital scale for everything. Its more convenient and holds its accuracy.

Thanks all for your input.

Next time I go to the Big City, I'll look at a couple places.

A friend of ours ran into DW at work. He mentioned he is moving to an acerage not to far away. We have hunted with rifles many years in the past. I think I will show up with the Excal and see what he thinks.
