Carbon Arrows on Rail

Post by vixenmaster »

This morning while in the dark after loading my arrow in miss vixen i hit the string with my finger. Funny vibe sound, so i ck'ed the spring retainer & its holding sloid. I thump string again several times hearing that obnoxious sound. My arrows including the Montec G5 are 21 3/4" long BH tip is over the edge of the stirrup. Anyway after fooling with the string thumping & arrow i could put finger on arrow out by riser joint & stop the sound but its bouncing on the rail with the long arrows !

I have heard that sound also. I think it, is the thickness of the LABLE on the arrow holding it up a bit in front.

I have found most arrows are not straight, try putting another vane down and see if it goes away. in my exocet if the arrow was high in the front of the rail it shot great, If it was down it show lower than where my scope was sighted in.
