I bought Bass Pro Shops {Red Head} Realtree snow camo last year. The pattern is great but.....The material that it is made of makes you sweat and then get cold. The only day it didnt it was -22. That day i was comfortable.

Can't beat the King size Ultra White sheets from the Martha Stewart Collection...just simply awesome!

Don't buy Predator Camo (Warp Knit) winter suit! Their light gear, such as the bow hunter suit was fine but the winter suit has a huge UV issue. I was getting picked off in the bush at 100 yards in spots where there was no way in hell the deer could have seen me. I could not figure it out until someone asked me about UV. I was puzzled but looked into it. Under a black light, the pants glow like an X-mas tree. I emailed Predator about the problem and they basically told me that there was no way it could happen and they would not do anything about it. Well, now I have to cover up my 700.00 suit with someone elses camo.

To further that, a friend of mine bought a similar Warp KNit suit from PC, and it started happening to him. It wasn't just one unlucky occasion either. The deer would pick you off at incredible yardages, stare at you like they've seen a ghost and then stay away.

Maybe it was one suit that they messed up but considering they didn't want to do anything to investigate the problem, I would beware.

I hunt on the ground and prefer hunkering down in a snow bank with a large white terry cloth bath robe for camo . . it will fit over top of what ever you are wearing to keep warm (in my case a goose down parka) and the bath robe is ultra quiet. I then use a white sheet to make a blind with my snow shoes/shrubs to hide my lower body, gear and folding chair chair legs.

I did try that stuff. It came with a wash and the UV treatment. Did not seem to solve the problem.

Not sure why it was just the pants either. I know when I purchased the suit, they had to back order the jacket so it was newer than the pants. I offered to send the stuff back to Predator so they could have a look at it. Not only were they not helpful, they actually got snotty with me. Too bad, I used to swear by their camo. The non insulated bowhunter suit I had worked great. Had plenty of deer within kicking range. Wearing the winter suit without covering it, 100% bust rate! I can see getting caught now and then when you make a mistake like skylining yourself or moving at the wrong time, but I am talking about 100 yards away in trees witha ton of back cover etc...
