Saftey seems way to easy to move to the fire position

Keep your fingers away from the trigger. Nothing safer then that. Im always more worried about a string suddenly letting go.

Another thing. I have tryed shooting field tips into the ground from a tree stand to unload, and I can never find the arrows. I'm sure they are completly burying in the dirt. so therefor I lower the xbow and uncock it with the rope cocker on the ground.

I uncock bow before lowering it to ground or walking out of ground blind. One of the niceties of using Excal.

Has anyone from Excalibur commented on this situation?

I have a new Vortex and at first there was a slight detent when moved from safe to fire. After several hundred shots, the safety also move quite easily from safe to fire.
